Toward the end of last week, I was faced with the possibility of enduring my first tube strike. I can only imagine what kind of chaos this would cause.
Fortunately, our company tries to assist with replacement bus services but according to the time tables, it would take about an extra hour to get to work! I was bracing myself for the worst.
Much to my relief, the strike was called off and commuting resumed as normal. It was a completely uneventful week, and for that I am very thankful!
